Configuring Windows Live Mail
To add an account to Windows Live Mail:
Step One
After first installing Windows Live Mail, if the menu bar (the bar at the top of a program with entries such as "File", "Edit" and "View") is not being shown, you may make it viewable by selecting, on the upper right-hand side of the window, the icon to the left of the "Help" icon (blue circle with a question mark in it) and select the option to "Show menu bar".
Step Six
Make sure that POP3 is selected for the "My incoming mail server is a ____ server" field.
The incoming server should be set to: mail.mtnisp.com
The port should be 110
The box beside "This server requires a secure connection" should be unchecked
The drop-down box next to "Log on using:" should be set to: Clear text authentication
Login ID is your email address without the @mtnisp.com part. For instance, if your email address is "jsmith@mtnisp.com" you would simply enter "jsmith" as your login id.
